William Edward Kent

Kent, William (Bill) Edward, died on Nov 16th 2015 as the result of an automobile accident in Zephyr Hills, Florida. Born in Bell Island, NFLD and moved to Georgetown, ON in 1959 where he lived with his wife Bridget and family. He was 78 years old. A well-liked and respected member of the community he was an avid sportsman and member of the Knights of Columbus and contributed time and effort to a number of charitable organizations. He will be greatly missed by his wife Bridget, son Bill (Janine), daughters Dena (Peter) and Pamela (John), grandchildren Lynzie (Andrew), Brittany (Dale), Kendall, Cassy, Johnny, Shawna (Trevor) and Spencer, and great grandchildren Kohen, Broden, Ephrium Edie and Archie. He was from a large family and will also be missed by sisters Rita (Blair dec.), Lillian (Warren dec.), Helen (Doug), Annette (Wayne), Marina (Chris) and brothers Bernard (Gerri), Gus (Marg), Reg (Bernadette), Rawlins (Jacquie), predeceased by Don (Lois). Also missed by brothers in law Bill and Patrick (dec.), sisters in law Nell and Rose and many, many nieces and nephews. Friends and family will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd, Georgetown, ON 905-877-3631 on Tuesday from 7-9pm and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 14400 Argyll Rd, Georgetown ON on Thursday Nov 26, 2015 at 10am. Interment Holy Redeemer Cemetery on 17th side road.
