William Thomas Cosway

Cosway, William (Bill) Thomas, beloved husband of Jean, passed away peacefully on July 17th, 2017; surrounded by the ones he loved, laughed with and lived for. Bill was a loving husband to Jean for 56 years, together raising their family, and opening their hearts and home to many others over the years.
Loving father to Steven, Kelly, Laura and James, along with their spouses Nancy, Michael, Giuliano and Sharon.
Proud grandfather of Matthew, Benjamin, Victoria, Ashley, Mikayla, Megan, Shelley and Shannon.
Treasured great-grandfather of Violet, Adisyn, Conner, Owen and Liam.
Honoured son of Fred and Evelyn Cosway.
Cherished son-in-law of Alfred and Annie Gorle.
Dear brother to Gloria, Carol, John and Sylvia.
Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and many friends.
Bill grew up in Toronto, Ontario, working at Dominion for 26 years. He then pursued his passion of woodworking, opening his own business "Reflections in Wood". Before retiring, he enjoyed working alongside his son, Steven, at Sensors and Software. Bill and Jean lived life to the fullest in their scenic country Halton Hills home, where fond memories were created with family and friends.  His quick wit, sense of humour and constant love will be forever missed.
Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalagar Road, Georgetown (905)877-3631 on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.  Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday July 22nd at 11:00 am.  Interment Meadowvale Cemetery.
