William "Bill" Albert Coon

Coon, William Albert- Peacefully on Tuesday May 22nd, 2018 at his home in Georgetown. Bill, in his 83rd year, beloved partner of Marie Hulme for over 30 years. Bill will be fondly remembered by the Hulme family. Bill was a guidance counsellor at the Georgetown High School for over 30 years. He was very involved in all types of sports including hockey, baseball and lacrosse and coached both girls and boys teams. In his retirement years, Bill worked at the North Halton Golf & Country Club for over 15 years as part of the grounds crew, where he made many friends. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown on Friday May 25th from 1:00 pm until time of funeral service held in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. In memory contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
