Ewins – William “Bill”

Passed on August 4th, 2025 at the Brampton Civic Hospital in Brampton, at the age of 77 years. Bill will be missed by Susan; by his children Scott (Melissa), Kellie (Joe) and Sarah; by his grandchildren Kellan and Hudson Ewins, and Abigail and William Price; and by his sister Dinah (Rod) Presswood.

Bill is predeceased by his parents Jack and Anne; and by his sisters Thelma (Bob) Smith and Johanna (Gary) Delano.

He will be missed by all those who knew him, and especially by Francine and by his good friends George and Steve.

Known for his great sense of humor, his love of sarcasm, and his devotion to his grandsons, Bill lived life full throttle and on his own terms. Whether he was on the field playing baseball, watching car races or cracking jokes no one saw coming, Bill brought laughter and heart to every moment.

A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held at the Jones Funeral Home on August 14th from 1-3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
