William "Bill" De Vries

William “Bill” De Vries – Passed peacefully on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at Faith Manor Holland Christian Homes in Brampton, Ontario, at the age of 96 years.

Proud of his Dutch heritage, Bill was born in Winsum, The Netherlands, as the youngest of nine siblings.

Bill was predeceased by his loving wife Elly Bron. He is survived by Tilly and Al Zomer, Bob and Mary De Vries, John and Irma De Vries, Bill and Angela De Vries, Mike and Kate Nesbit, Helen and Rick Romkema, 23 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren.

A private family graveside service will be held.

Memorial donations may be made to any Christian charity of your choice. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the caregivers Faith Manor at Holland Christian Homes.
