Warrington Harrison

Harrison, Warrington- It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Warrington (Warren) Clifford Harrison of Georgetown, Ontario in his 82nd year on April 28th, 2015. Much loved and already missed by his wife Iris of 59 years. Warren was a devoted husband and father to three girls. He was a loving Grandpa to 5 grandchildren. Daughters Janet Granasiuk and her son Alexander, Gillian Bremner (Ron) and her sons Douglas and Michael and Angela Graham (Gordon) and her children Brendan and Shannon will miss him dearly. Warren is survived by his brother Reginald Harrison and his sister Helen Dewsnap (David) and predeceased by his brother Keith Harrison (Joan). Warren was born in Widnes, Lancashire, England and is predeceased by his parents Marjorie and Clifford Harrison. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews, family and friends in the UK and Canada. Warren was a Chemist by profession with a degree in rubber, plastics and high polymers. He spent time at the Atomic Energy Facility working with radioactive isotopes in Oxford. He was entrepreneurial at heart and was a great mentor to many. He had a long and interesting career in manufacturing of building material products and in research and development in the chemical and petroleum industries in both the UK and Canada. Iris and Warren moved to Canada in 1965 and enjoyed a long and happy life in Montreal and Ontario where they made many friends. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimers Society of Canada in memory of Warren would be greatly appreciated. Cremation has already taken place.
