Peacefully, on Saturday October 6, 2012 at Georgetown Hospital. Velda, beloved wife of the late Fred Carlo (1993). Loving mother of Lynne (Wayne) Cormier, Mark (Charol) Carlo, Susan McGowen, Brian (Marcy) Carlo and Jackie (Glenn) Blight. Proud grandmother of Craig, Jeff (Amy), Lisa (Tim), Scott (Lauren), Anthony (Stephanie), Jared, Kara, Samantha, Daniel and Andrew. Cherished "GiGi" of Emily.
Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Ave., Georgetown, (905)877-3631 on Wednesday October 10th from 12-1 pm.
