Bill would like you to know: his work here on earth is done! He's off on another adventure - piloting his own plane to heaven. Soon he'll be reunited with his beloved mother Marina, Aunt Kay and Aunt Pearl, along with other family and friends he has not seen for a long time. He will be greatly missed by all who have had the pleasure to know him. Bill was a force to be reckoned with, had a heart of gold and a wonderful sense of humour. He was also a talented man who sang, played the drums and even the violin. He loved to travel and fly - but he also loved his home. And there was nothing Bill loved more that sitting down to an awesome meal, in front of a great movie with his loving wife Katherine by his side. Beloved husband of Katherine Marko (nee Macropoulos). Loving son of Chris and the late Marina Marko. Loving brother of Jim Marko and Debra Dershko. Loving brother-in-law of Miena and Doug Bishop, Bill Macropoulos, Pat and Ed Bouwman, and Anne Marie Dejardin. Dear uncle to Stefanie, Sarah, Sofia, Annique, Celeste, Alexis, Christiane, Daniel, and Ava. Greatly missed by Holly and Lia. Friends and family will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Friday January 26th, from 1-2 pm. A memorial service will follow in the chapel at 2 pm. Reception to follow in the Trafalgar Room. Cremation.
