It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Valerie Ann Roetsch, who left us peacefully on Monday, March 3, 2025 at Credit Valley Hospital in her 76th year.

Valerie was the beloved wife of John for 40 wonderful years. She was a loving mother to Melissa, Jason, Dale (Cyndi), Darrin (Kelly), and Damien (Erica), and a cherished Noni to her grandson, Sterling Frankie. She was the devoted daughter of the late Frank and Edith Anthony, whose love and guidance shaped the kind and caring woman she became.

Valerie had a passion for gardening and was always "putzing" around, tending to the things she loved most. Above all, her greatest joy and accomplishment was her family, whom she adored and dedicated her life to.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown, with a service commencing in the Chapel at 2:30 p.m. A private family burial will follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Valerie’s memory to either the Credit Valley Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved her.
