Theodora Mackinnon

MacKinnon, Theodora - With great sadness, the family of Theodora (Dora) MacKinnon born July 27th, 1937 share the news of her passing. Dora is survived by her children, Teresa, Elizabeth, Peter, David, and her grandchildren, Michelle, Carley, Teri-Anne, MacKenzie, Drew, Eric, Joel, and Dayen, and her great grandchildren, Noah, Benny, Mac and Violet. Dora is predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Neil (2012), her dear daughter Lynne (1978) and precious granddaughter Hunter (2011).
Since 2012, Dora suffered health challenges with heroic strength, refusing to accept help, and without complaint. She was always 'just fine'
Dora was a real estate professional for many years and serviced her many clients in Georgetown with diligence, honesty and integrity. Dora was talented and witty, she could act, and she so loved to dance, earning her the nickname Tina Turner, but it was universally agreed that she definitely should not sing. Her humorous notes to colleagues, family and friends will be cherished always.
Dora will be remembered for all of this and so much more. Her large extended family will gather for a celebration of her life at a later date and share their stories with love and laughter.
Dora is at rest, joined again with her loved ones. We are sure she is now in God's hands and doing just fine.....
