Born in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, England.

Studied at Walney Modern Secondary School.

Recruited by Bell Canada and immigrated to Toronto in 1978.

Former partner at Stevenson Kellogg, former partner at KPMG, former director of consulting at PWC, and consulting owner at Millar & Associates.Predeceased by his parents Charles and Marion Millar. Stuart is survived by his wife Linda (Lynn) of 43 years and his children Emma Kate, Alexander (and Kristjana), and Cameron (and Jessica).

Stuart's family were the loves of his life and his pride in them was immense. Stuart's sense of humour and kindness to friends will be missed. His connection with our four legged friends earned him the nickname of "Dog Whisperer".

Cremation has already taken place. Friends will be received at Jones Funeral Home on Saturday February 18, 2023, from 1:00pm until time of Memorial Service at 2:00pm in the chapel. Reception to follow.“In lieu of flowers, the family would like any donations made in Stuart’s honour to go towards Bethell Hospice of Inglewood, ON, where Stuart received the most compassionate care in his final days.”
