Stewart Walker Roach

Stewart Walker Roach – Passed away peacefully on December 2nd, 2024 in the Georgetown Hospital, Georgetown, at the age of 81 years. He was the beloved husband of Isabelle for 58 years, and dear father of Diane, Jaqueline, Stewart. Loving grandfather of April, Thomas, Kayla, Kristen and Jonathan, and dear great-grandfather of Ryan, Isabella, Madison, Lucas, Josiah, Anaya and Caleb.

Stewart is predeceased by his parents Thomas and Agnes, and his older sister Margaret MacIntosh (the late Sam).

Stewart was a good man. He will be lovingly remembered as a good husband and a good family man. Stewart cherished his family and he loved to make them laugh. His other great love was soccer. From his first job at the Ibrox Stadium back home in Scotland to his final days in Canada, Stewart enjoyed the game his whole life.

Stewart will be greatly missed by his wife, his kids, his grandkids and great-grandkids.

Family and friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 10-11 a.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at 11 a.m. with a reception following the service.

In honour of Stewart, memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society.
