Stephen Mikoleit

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stephen Mikoleit, who departed from us on August 11, 2023, surrounded by his loving family at Hospice Vaughan. Beloved son of Walter and Anita Mikoleit.

Stephen was a devoted husband to his beloved wife Deborah, and a cherished father to his children Zachary and Haleigh. His dedication to his family was unwavering, and his love for them was a guiding light in his life.

He was a caring brother to Andrew (Tien), and the cherished nephew of Karin (Ted), Werner (Diane), and Angela (Jim). His presence added joy to the lives of those around him, and his connections within the family were strong and meaningful.

Stephen's legacy extended as an uncle to Natalie, Madison, Krista, Ryan, Karl (Jackie), Jennifer, Barry (Linda), Laura (Jon), and Steven (Diane). He was a great uncle to Sophie, Christina, Oliver, Louis, Sophia, and Alyssa. His role as an uncle brought happiness and laughter to many special moments in their lives.

In addition to his family, Stephen was a friend to many, and his kindness and generosity knew no bounds. His caring nature touched the lives of numerous people, leaving an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown, at 2:00 p.m., with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Hospice Vaughan. Your contributions will help continue the fight against cancer and provide comfort to those in need.
