Stephen King Barker

Stephen Barker passed away suddenly on January 2, 2021, in his 68th year at the Georgetown Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Ronald and Una Barker. Stephen is survived by his sister Catharine and brother-in-law Douglas Switzer. His niece Sheena Switzer & husband Robert Routcliffe, their children Ellis and Bryce Routcliffe, and his nephew and daughter-in-law Evan & Katie Switzer and their daughter Riley. Stephen was a quiet man who loved writing, movies, history and his family. He enjoyed a nice steak and a good cocktail. More then anything he enjoyed a hot cup of tea and a newspaper. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Halton Hills Public Library or a charity of your choosing would be appreciated. Due to covid restrictions a private family graveside service will take place at Greenwood cemetery.
