Barr, Shirley- Suddenly, on Sunday August 4, 2013 at the Milton Hospital. Shirley, 75 years of age, beloved wife of Charles "Chic" for 56 years. Loving mother of Janis and her husband Eugene Horak and Jason and his wife Elizabeth. Predeceased by her son Derek and by her daughter Beverly. Loved grandmother of Ryan, Stacey, Michael, Kevin, Kyle, Jameson, Everett, Shane and Cody. Great-grandmother of Evan, Colton, Elias and Marshall. Dear sister of Hazel (Herman) Stakkestad. Also, predeceased by her sisters Jean and Marlyn. Fondly remembered by her best friend Ruth Lynch. A memorial service will be held in the chapel at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Wednesday August 7, 2013 at 11:00 am. Reception to follow in the Trafalgar Room. Cremation.
