Sandra Hentschel

Hentschel, Sandra K. (nee Peterson)- Peacefully on Friday, May 22, 2015 at her home in Georgetown, as a result of many years struggling with Multiple Sclerosis. Sandra was like an angel through all her struggles over the years she never complained. Sandra was born and raised in Toronto and graduated university there with a degree in Occupational and Physical Therapy. She began her career working at the Compensation Hospital in Downsview where she would meet her husband to be (Klaus), a patient receiving physio care from Sandra. They married in 1976 and settled down in Georgetown in 1978 where Sandra worked as a Physio Therapist until 1986 when she had to retire early due to progressing symptoms of M.S. Sandra was predeceased by her parents. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Tuesday from 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, May 27th, 2015 at 11:00 am. Reception to follow in the Trafalgar Room. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery, Norval.
