Kowalchuk, Russell "Russ"- After a courageous battle of obstacles, including cancer during 2014, passed peacefully on January 2, 2015 at his home in Georgetown, with his children by his side. Beloved husband of the late Lois Kowalchuk (nee Proctor) and loving father to Susan Jones (Chris), Patti Kowalchuk and Tim Kowalchuk (Nancy). Cherished grandfather of Whitney and Jasmine Jones. Dear brother of the late Anne Green, Nikolas, Michael and Marion Green. A private family service was held as per Russell's request. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, in memory contributions to either CAS (Cancer Assistance Services of Halton Hills) or Bethel House (Bethel Hospice Foundation) would be appreciated.
