Ionson, Roy Albert - Peacefully on Sunday March 21, 2021 at the Elgin Abbey Residence, Chesley. Roy, in his 90th year, beloved husband of Joan for 63 years. Loving father of Leslie (Craig) Dyment, Bruce (Elizabeth), Judi (Don) Vincent and Lee (Kate). Loved grandfather of Laura, Paul, Maddy and Avery. Roy was predeceased by his sister Joyce Snider. A private family service, by invitation only, will be held in the chapel at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Friday March 26, 2021 at 11 a.m. Interment Springcreek Cemetery, Mississauga. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Foundation would be appreciated.
