Hansen, Roy Hendrick- Having led an amazingly full and healthy life of almost 96 years, Roy passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 with family at his side. Roy is no doubt already dancing once again with Helen Irene (McCaig), his cherished wife of 65 years. Loving father of daughters Elizabeth Hansen and Leslie Ward (Alan), and sons Marshall (Valerie) and Eric (Sheila). Dear grandfather of Grant, Ginni Lee and Warren. Brother of Donald Parker and the late Ralph Hansen. Predeceased by in-laws, Maude (Bill), Mary (Chester), Marjorie (Ernest), Evaline (Bud), Marshall and Jim (Vi). Roy will also be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Monday, May 26, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel at J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 2:00 pm. Cremation has taken place. Interment at a later date.
