Ross Hamill

ROSS J. HAMILL (Former Vice-President of William M. Mercer Limited, Montreal) died peacefully on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family. Ross, in his 94th year, was a devoted husband to the late Shirley Hamill (1997), loving father of Mark (Mary), Brenda (Steven), Carolyn (Robert) and Elaine (Kevin), proud grandfather of Edward, Elizabeth, Erica, Brian, Laura, Trevor, Sean and Ryan and great grandfather to one cherished great grandson Lachlan. Ross was born in Montreal, QC later moving to Georgetown, ON. Ross was passionate about learning all things but had a special interest in business, nature, gardening, science and music. He enjoyed spending time at the cottage in Val David, QC combined with his many trips to Florida. Ross will be forever remembered for the unconditional love he had for his family and for his wonderful sense of humour, charisma, intelligence and independence.

Friends will be received in the Trafalgar Room at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown on Saturday April 1, 2023 from 2-5 p.m. Memorial contributions to the Georgetown Hospital Foundation or the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital Foundtion would be appreciated.
