Ross Burt

Burt, Ross William - In his 72nd year, Ross left us from home surrounded with the love of his devoted family. Beloved husband of Connie for almost 37 years. Loving father of Kelly and Jay and his wife Giselle. Dearly loved grandpa of 9 grandchildren and pappa of 5 great-grandchildren. Brother of Earl and Muriel. Predeceased by sister Shirley and parents George and Pearl Burt. A wonderful clan of nieces and nephews will sorely miss Ross. Ross was George Van Der Eyken's best friend and challenging crib partner. Ross will be sadly missed and was much loved by all of his family of in-laws. Ross was a devoted participant of Trinity United Church in Acton and will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Ross was a long time employee of Snow Brothers in Erin. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Ave., Georgetown, (905) 877-3631 on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday May 7 at Trinity United Church, 70 Mill Street, Acton at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Limehouse Cemetery. A celebration of Ross's life will take place at Trinity United Church in Acton following Funeral. In memory contributions to Trinity United Church or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
