Rosemary Bentz

Rosemary Bentz (nee Fenlon) 1931 - 2020 Our beautiful Mother, Rosemary Bentz (nee Fenlon), age 88, passed away peacefully at Georgetown Hospital on June 10, 2020 with her loving family by her side. Mom was born on October 9, 1931 in Thunder Bay to Tom and Anna Mae Fenlon and was the 7th of 9 children. She is pre-deceased by her dearly beloved husband Chuck, her parents Tom and Anna Mae, and her siblings Tom, Ella Mae, Bill, Bernice and Frank. Mom is survived by her brothers Bob and Bert, and her sister Doreen.
Through 44 years of marriage, Mom was a devoted wife to her husband Chuck, and a beloved Mother to her children, Kevin (Maureen), Karen, Brian (Amanda) and Diane Wright (Bill.)
She is survived by her 4 grandchildren - Jamie, Alex, Andrea and Avery. She is also survived by her numerous nieces and nephews. Mom loved being with her family, and had a wonderful sense of humour that never dimmed with age. Her contagious laugh, beautiful eyes and propensity to draw others into witty conversation were her hallmark. She was an athlete in her younger years, playing tennis and skating, loved to travel on numerous road trips with her beloved Chuck, cook her wonderful meals for her family, and could be found at the centre of every social event. Her love for her family was fierce and her beautiful laugh, feisty sense of humour and smile will stay with us forever. She is once again reunited with her beloved husband Chuck, and we were blessed to have her in our lives for this long.
