Rosalie "Rose" Iris Lillian Marcham

Marcham, Rosalie “Rose” Iris Lillian - Passed away peacefully on March 6th, 2025, in the Georgetown Hospital, in here 101st year. Rose (nee Smith) was the beloved wife of the late Victor Marcham for 49 years of marriage, and the cherished mum of Rick Marcham.

Rose is predeceased by her dear parents Fred and Lilian Smith, and by her brothers Vern Smith (the late Min), Ron Smith (the late Claire), and Victor “Vic” Smith (Doreen). Rose will be deeply missed by her sister-in-law Doreen Smith (nee Wilson), by her niece Leslie Maguire and by her nephews Bruce Smith, Ronnie Smith, Gary Smith, Raymond Smith and David Smith.

Rose will be remembered for her caring nature and for her deep love for her family and friends. Her passion extended to caring for her home and making sure everyone was well fed. Even in her final days, her first thought was of her son.

Family and friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown on Tuesday, March 11th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the Jones Funeral Home chapel on Wednesday, March 12th at 11 a.m. Reception will be held following the service. Burial at Greenwood Cemetery following the reception.
