In Loving Memory of Rosa Vallecoccia

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.

Rosa Vallecoccia was a devoted wife, a loving mother and Nonna, a cherished sister, and a friend to all who knew her. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Francesco (d. 2002). Rosa’s legacy lives on through her sons Bart (Karen Hoffmann) and Sante (Belinda), and her adored granddaughters Samantha and Jessica, who were the lights of her life.

She was the dear sister of Maddalena and is predeceased by her siblings Emma, Elvira, Maria, Vincenzo and Nazzareno. Rosa will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Rosa was a woman of immense warmth, strength, and unwavering faith. She had a remarkable memory, a green thumb, and a gift for making her house a true home—a place where everyone felt welcome and loved. Her independence and kindness left a lasting impression on all who crossed her path. To know Rosa was to love her.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025, at Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 6:00–8:00 p.m., with parish prayers at 3:45 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 14400 Argyll Road, Georgetown. Entombment will follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens, 1810 Albion Road, Etobicoke.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to Scleroderma Canada in Rosa’s honour.
