Ronald Lyle Scott
(CD Chief Warrant Officer Drum Major Royal Regiment of Canada) July 10, 1937 - February 27, 2013 - Ronald passed away peacefully at the Bethell Hospice, Inglewood on Wednesday February 27, 2013 with his family by his side. Ronald in his 76th year, with his arms wide open, went to be with God. Loved husband of Sharron and dear father of Ryan and his wife Monique and grandfather to their expectant child and Reid and his wife Kristin. Fondly remembered by many cousins. He will be sadly missed by his beloved Rudy and Cleo. Ron was predeceased by his parents Harry and Viola Scott of St. Catharines. He was the recipient of the Canadian Decoration Medal and the Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal.
Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Avenue, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Friday March 1, 2013 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday March 2nd at 11:00 a.m. Interment Springford Cemetery.
