ROBINSON, Ronald George

The family sadly announces the unexpected passing of Ron at his home in Georgetown, at the age of 74, on Sunday, February 1, 2026.

Born in Orangeville on April 16, 1951 and raised in Inglewood, Ron was retired from The City of Mississauga where he had been a dedicated transit driver for close to 30 years.

Predeceased by his parents, Allen and Kathleen (nee McGrath), and cherished stepson to Eileen Robinson, he will be fondly remembered by his siblings Bob (late Heather), Cindy (Jerry) Power, and Mary, his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nephew, extended family in Tiverton and Kincardine, and his dear cousin Sheila Walsh of Fergus.

Ron will be remembered for the love he had for his family and friends, his lifelong affection for the many dogs he had over the years in his life, and for his unwavering devotion to The Toronto Maple Leafs.

Cremation has taken place. Interment will take place at Boston Mills Cemetery in Inglewood with a celebration of life that will be announced at a later date.

The family would like to thank everyone for their kindness and support during this very difficult time.
