Cushing, Roderick Alan "Rod" - Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday September 2, 2022 at his home in Georgetown. Rod, in his 60th year, beloved son of Mary and Andre Cushing. Loving father of Patricia Houle. Loved grandpa of Emma. Dear brother of Marleen and Andre. Dear uncle of William, Brittany and Sarah. Rod was an avid coin collector and will be forever remembered by his family for his strong faith, kindness and the love he had for his family and friends. Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown on Friday Sept 9, 2022 from 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers in the chapel on Friday at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 14400 Argyll Road, Georgetown on Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
