O'Gorman, Robert Joseph - Passed away peacefully on Thursday October 13, 2016 at Cote Terrace, Georgetown. Bob, in his 84th year, a devoted and beloved husband of Janet Claire (nee Robinson). Loving father to Karen (Paul) Jowett and Laurie (John) Clark. Proud grandfather of Krista (Daniel) Cibic, Beverly (Ryan) Pollock, Melissa (Mitchell) Walsh, Stephanie (Neil) Graham, Valerie (Kevin) Tweedle, Kelly (Jay) Clark, and Troy Clark. Loving great-grandfather to Elias, Elena, Ethan, Colby, Dominic, Alora, Kassidy and Jack. Much loved brother of Rita and Richard. Predeceased by his siblings John, Clare, Herbert, Dennis and George. He was a dedicated family man who lived life to its fullest. Robert Joseph O'Gorman was a strong man of principles, a faithful man, a chartered professional accountant, a history buff, and a sports enthusiast. He was a caring supportive husband and father who always loved helping, guiding, playing and laughing with all his family. He enjoyed a good conversation while entertaining and cooking with family and friends. He was always a joy to have him in our company and he will be remembered forever in all of our hearts.
Friends and family will be received at the J.S. Jones and Son Funeral Home 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905)877-3631 on Sunday, October 16th from 1-4 pm. Funeral mass to be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church at 14400 Argyll, Georgetown on Monday, October 17th at 10:00 am with reception to follow. Interment to follow at Highland Memorial Gardens in Willowdale.
