McTaggart, Robert Reid - Peacefully after a short battle with cancer at his home in Cambridge on Sunday February 21, 2016. Robert, in his 85th year, husband of the late Patricia "Pat" McTaggart. Loving father of Joanna and Rob (Jenn). Loved grandfather of Danny. Dear brother of Ralph (Dale). Predeceased by his brothers Jack and Charlie and by his sister Jenny. Will be missed by family pets Dags, Bubbs and Gorbie. Robert served with the Royal Air Force and was a long time member of the Canadian Legion.
Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown, 905-877-3631 on Sunday from 2-4 p.m.. A memorial service will be held in the chapel on Monday February 29 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
