Robert John Higgins

Higgins, Robert John ‶Huff″ (Former employee of C.N.R., Georgetown Branch) - Peacefully, on Friday March 18, 2022 at the Georgetown Hospital.  Rob, in his 70 ^th year, beloved husband of Barb for 46 years.  Loving father of Kristen (Allison) McDowell and Dana (Brian) Walker.  Loved grandpa of Kayden and Lincoln.  Dear brother of Mark (Elaine) Higgins.  Rob was a member of the Georgetown Fall Fair Board and a dedicated organizer of the Demolition Derby at Georgetown’s Annual Fall Fair for many years.  Rob enjoyed hanging out with the guys at the Random Car Club in Glen Williams.  Rob will be forever remembered for the love of his family and friends.  The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff at Extendicare Halton Hills and the Georgetown Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion.  Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown on Monday March 28, 2022 from 6-9 p.m.  Cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario
