Robert Edwards

Edwards, Robert Crosbie (March 29, 1931 to Oct 07, 2013)- Born in Durban, South Africa, Robert moved to Canada in 1956. At the age of 82, Robert passed away peacefully in his Georgetown home of 55 years, after an unexpected battle with lung cancer. He is survived by his sister Leslie May Dunbar of Cape Province, South Africa, his four sons and their spouses; Brian and Jodi, Donald and Janet, Graham and Susan, and Marc and Magdalena, the boy's mother Gertrude, ten Grandchildren; Amanda, Katie, Rachel, Sarah, Amber, Alexander, Timothy, Matthew, Daniel and Veronica and five Great-Grandchildren Kyler, Ned, Henry, Ava and Jacob. Visitation will be held at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd, Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Friday October 11, from 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday October 12, at 11am. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Georgetown. Followed by a short reception at Holy Cross Church Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Holy Cross Building Fund, Cancer Assistance Services of Halton Hills (CASHH) or a charity of choice.
