Robert "Bob" Vernon Cordingley

Cordingley, Robert Vernon, Passed away peacefully at Credit Valley Hospital, April 19, 2017 after a brief battle with cancer, in his 71st year, with his wife Donna (Leitch) of 23 years, by his side. Father to Jeff and Jennifer Cordingley, both of Calgary. Survived by his brothers, Tom (Pat), Ted (Nancy), and his sister Lois (Dwight). Predeceased by his parents Vernon and Margaret, and his sister Marilyn (2017). Missed by many brother and sister-in-laws, sadly missed by nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Born and raised in Clarkson, Ontario, Bob retired from the City of Brampton after 15 years of service in 2015. Previously, owned and operated his own coffee truck, Bob's Roadhouse. He was a successful mechanic with his own gas station/garage and towing business in Orangeville.
Family and friends will be received at J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown (905) 877-3631. Visitation on Sunday April 23rd, 2017, from 5pm-9pm and Monday April 24th, 2017 from 9 - 10am. Funeral to follow at 10am. Memorial donations can be made to Cancer Assistance Services Halton Hills (CASHH).
