Gunby, R.L. "Vern"- Peacefully, in the presence of his family, on Monday March 6th, 2017 at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Vern, in his 86th year, beloved husband of Betty for 62 years. Cherished and loving father of Debra (Doug), Cheryl (Michael), Janet (Alex) and Barbara (David). Proud and adored grandpa of Scott, Sean, Arianna, Graeson, Christopher, Nicholas, Jennifer and Jason. Dear brother of Kenneth (Ruth) and brother-in-law of Teresa. Predeceased by his brother Cecil. Vern will also be sadly missed by Betty's family. At Vern's request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place.
