Rita Helen Nicholson

Peacefully, on Saturday June 4, at Amica Georgetown Seniors' Care Residence, at the age of 76 after a lengthy illness. Daughter of the late Garnet and Helen Nicholson (Thomas). Dear mother of Justine McVeigh (John), Jason Greyerbiehl, and Jeremy Greyerbiehl (Jeanette), her children with Daniel Greyerbiehl (Mary Margaret).
Proud grandmother of Thomas, Daniel, Lauryn, Mason, Joshua, Nicholas, and Meghan.
Pre-deceased by husband Owen Maher. Grieved by devoted partner Roper Galloway. Cherished sister of Mary Joan Smith (Peter).
Rita's positive attitude and supportive personality helped her become a breast-cancer survivor who loved travel, crafts, and pets.
Many thanks to the staff of Georgetown Hospital, and Amica Residence Georgetown, especially Bimpe, Soroya, Jane, and Emily.
Funeral arrangements will be at Jones Funeral Home, Georgetown with visitation being held on Tuesday, June 7th from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. A Mass at Holy Cross Church Georgetown will take place on Wednesday, June 8th at 10:30am
