Rita Marie Lavoie

Rita Marie H. Lavoie - Born November 3, 1938. Sadly passed away after a battle with cancer on Wednesday June 12, 2019 at Credit Valley Hospital at the age of 80 years. Beloved daughter of the late Leo Paradis and Georgette Laferte. She will be sadly missed by her children Roger and Rachelle, her grandchildren Corey, Stacey, Riley and Jake as well as her great granddaughter Abigail. Dear sister of brothers Roger, Normend, Jean-Claude, Roland, Paul, Gille and sisters Louise, Nicole, Silvie and Diane. Predeceased by siblings Denis, Michael, Marcel, Colette, Yvette and Denise. Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church on Friday June 21st at 10:00 am. Memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Cancer Society would be appreciated.
