Rita Christensen

Rita Christensen- It is with great sadness but with thankfulness for her life, that we announce the passing of Rita Christensen on Monday February 19th, 2024. Loving wife of the late Douglas Christensen. Survived by her cherished children Bernard (Joan), daughter-in-law Karen, Cathy Lepki (Jim) and Ruth Hope (Terry). Proud and loving grandmother of James Douglas Lepki (Sarah), Kelly Hope (Justin) and Emily Hope (Joel) and great-grandchildren Audrey and Edwin Chlan, James David and Quinn Lepki. Fondly remembered by Rita’s sister Shirley Armillotta, her family and cousin Mary Burgess. Predeceased by her parents James and Jean Coyne, son Richard and granddaughter Shannon Hope.

Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd. Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Sunday March 03 from 2-4pm. A funeral mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church 14400 Argyll Rd., Georgetown on Monday March 04, 2024 at 10:30am.
