Rino Sovran

Sovran, Rino- It is with heavy hearts that we wish to inform all, the passing of Rino Sovran. Rino is pre-deceased by his wife Joan (2007). Beloved father and treasured friend to many, Rino is survived by his daughters Kristine (Sovran) Clare, Kim Tobin and son Kenneth Sovran (Darlene), grandchildren Ryan Tobin, Lindsay Sovran-Buchi (Scott) and great-grand children Jeremy and Jayden. Rino loved people. Indeed, he loved life. As a proud member of the Great War Flying Museum, he spent endless hours, with treasured friends, offering his talents to keep the memories of the sacrifices, made by our veterans, alive for generations to come. Rino's love of animals was enjoyed throughout his life. His beloved cat "Charlie" misses him still. Twice weekly trips to the Erin and Oakville shelters were always a hi-light of his day. Rino will be deeply missed by many. His bright smile will never be forgotten. A visitation, at J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home 11582 Trafalgar Rd., Georgetown will take place Thursday October 11, 2018 from 5:00pm-7:00pm. Funeral Service will take place at Jones Funeral Home chapel on Friday October 12, 2018 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, Rino requested donations be made to The Upper Credit Humane Society or the Oakville/Milton Humane Society.
