Richard (Rick) Ian Munro

Rick passed away suddenly on November 13, 2025. At the age of 52. He was born and raised in Oromocto, New Brunswick, and later made his home in Acton, Ontario.

Rick was the loving partner of Betty-Jo James. He is survived by his father Paul Kelley, his brother Chris Kelley (Amanda), and his nephews Brady (with his mother Amber Martin) and Daxton (with his mother Tiffany Northup).

He was a cherished nephew of Heather Hogan (Reg) George (Sharon), Gordon, Norma (Marcel)  his cousins Cheryl, David, Billy, and Matthew. Kelli, Amber, George Ross and Kayla.

Rick is predeceased by his mother, Bonnie Kelley Munro, and his brothers Jonathan Kelley and Daniel Kelley.

He was a beloved son-in-law to Lois Vanvolkenburg (Wayne) and the late Charles James, and a caring brother-in-law to Patricia James. He will also be deeply missed by his childhood brother like friend Sean Callahan , along with many extended family members and friends in his community. Rick’s warmth, deep faith, and love for those around him will be remembered always.

Rick has been laid to rest through cremation. A celebration of life will be held on March 7, 2026 11 AM at The Roxy Centre in Acton with a reception to follow.

This service will be live streamed on Zoom for those unable to attend in Acton.
