Hancock, Richard Frederick

Passed away peacefully on Friday, December 30, 2022, at home in Orillia, ON. Loving husband of Diana, and cherished father to Blake (Cheryl), Jack (Michelle), Sandra (late Shawn), Dana (Jeff) and Fred Goldsmith (Karen). Papa to Nikkolas, Lauren, Josh, Raven, Skylah, Matthew & Brody.

Brother to Roland (Judy) of Brampton, and predeceased by sisters Jean Pedersen and Beatrice Crewson and brothers Bill, Bob, John, Don and Ted. Richard (Dick) was an employee of Smith & Stone in Georgetown for over 35 years and well known through the area during his time there and in Wellington region for his volunteer work in minor hockey. He had a life-long connection to farming and all things related.

Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown, (905)877-3631 on Thursday January 5th from 12 - 2 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at 2:00 pm. Interment in Glen Williams Cemetery will take place in the spring. In memory of Richard, donations may be made to Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital.
