Naugler, Raymond Terrence

Passed away peacefully in the company of his beloved wife Barbara at AgeCare Wenleigh in Mississauga, Ontario on June 1st at 79 years of age. Raymond was the beloved, devoted, and loving husband of Barbara for 59 years of marriage, celebrating their 59th anniversary on May 1st. Loving and proud father of Terry (Lisa), dear brother of Joan, Gary (Myrtle) and Verla. Proud and doting grandfather of Braden and Taryn and beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Ray lived the majority of his life in the Peterborough and Kawartha Lakes region where he loved the outdoors and had a passion and love of fishing. He shared that passion with family and friends and passed the love of fishing onto his grandchildren and countless friends who visited their property over the years.

To know Ray was to love him and he will be sadly missed by many friends and family members. Ray will be fondly remembered for being a kind and gentle soul and a father figure to many throughout his life. He was an extremely hard worker, had a tremendous sense of humour, an infectious smile, and an unforgettable laugh. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and extremely generous with his time for those in need. Ray’s friendliness, positivity and easy-going nature left a lasting impact on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A celebration of life will be held in the near future.

In honour of Ray, memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
