Raymond Joseph Lenz

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Raymond Lenz suddenly at age 81 at LaPointe Nursing Home in Guelph. Ray was a loving husband to Theresa who predeceased him in 2007. He was a devoted stepfather to Bob, John, and Dominic (Donny). Ray was also predeceased by his brother John, his sister Lenie and brother Richard. Ray will lovingly be remembered by his nieces, nephews, step grandchildren and great step grandchildren.

Ray was born in Bowmanville to John Sr and Greta. They moved to Georgetown when Ray was a child. He was a self-employed electrician and then a long-time employee at Gerrie Electric in Georgetown and also caretaker at Berwick Hall where he lived for many years until he moved to LaPointe Nursing Home. He received the utmost care and love from all the staff at Lapointe.

There will be a graveside service on Friday May 10th at 2 pm for family and friends at Greenwood Cemetery in Georgetown where his ashes will rest with Theresa followed by a celebration of life. Venue to be determined.
