Monckton, Phyllis (nee Kirby) - Peacefully on Monday April 21, 2014 at the Georgetown Hospital, Phyllis, in her 94th year, wife of the late Harold George "Bud" Monckton. Loving mother of Bob and his wife Penny and Patty and her husband Jim Hall all of Georgetown. Proud grandmother of Rob Monckton and his wife Elaine, Ashley Monckton (Maxx Scholz), Chris Hall (Stacey McCormack) and Mike Hall (Kate MacKay). Proud great-grandmother of Reese, Mia, Audrey and Finn. Dear sister of Bob (Joyce) Kirby. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday April 24, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the Trafalgar Room.
