Phyllis Hauver

Phyllis Sylvia Hauver June 3, 1933 – August 13, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Phyllis Sylvia Hauver (Jolley), who left us on August 13, 2023 with family at her side after recently celebrating her 90th birthday in Georgetown, Ontario. Phyllis (Daughter of the late Sylva (Taylor) and Jim Jolley) was predeceased by her husband Tait Hauver (2013) after 60 years of marriage, Phyllis is survived by her younger brother, Dexter Jolley and wife Ginny, her sister in law Tannis Moriarty, and her loving children, Gayle (Gary) Baillargeon, Tanya (Peter) Hess, Michael (Jennifer) Hauver and Debbie (Tom) Hamer. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Katie, Andrew, Mackenzie, Tayden, Bronwyn and Addison and her many nieces and nephews.

Born on June 3, 1933, Phyllis grew up always prioritizing family and friends. She was a talented quilter on the Quebec craft show circuit for many years. Also an avid reader, Phyllis always enjoyed engaging in debates and discussing differences of opinion with her family. She leaves many with the memory of her wonderful smile.

Her life will be celebrated on October 28th at 11 am at the Knowlton Cemetery, under the fall leaves of the Eastern Townships in Knowlton, Quebec. A place she always called home.
