Mercer, Patricia-Lynn Mary “Trish” (nee McCormack)

Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday January 19, 2023 at her home in Georgetown. Trish, in her 56th year, beloved wife of Chris for 31 years. Loving mother of Caitie (Lydia) and Matthew. Loved daughter of Irene and Patrick McCormack. Dear sister of Michael (Laurie) McCormack. Trish loved her kids, Caitie and Matthew and she was proud to be a registered nurse. Trish was always caring for others, and will be forever remembered by her family and friends as a very fun, loving, down-to-earth, and selfless person. She loved her family, being outdoors and going to the cottage, and enjoyed dancing, cycling and paddleboarding.

Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Friday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 14400 Argyll Road, Georgetown on Saturday January 28, 2023 at 10 a.m. Reception to follow at Terrace On The Green, 8672 Mississauga Road, Brampton. Cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions to the Brain Tumor Foundation of Canada or the Georgetown Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
