Pamela Mcnaught

Pamela B McNaught died peacefully at the Georgetown, ON Hospital on Tuesday February 7th, 2023 in her 93rd year.

She was the beloved wife to Charles (deceased). Sister to Sheila (Donald deceased) and Linda (John). Mother to Michael (deceased), Susan (Doug), Janet (deceased), Brian and Kathleen. Grandmother to Heather (Paul), Andrew (Amanda), Jonathan (Brittany), Jeffrey (Aimee) and Elizabeth (Eric).


Pam was born in Montreal, Quebec on May 9th, 1929 to Lyle Jackson Cornell and his wife Elma Beatrice Philomene Bird. She married the love of her life, Charles, also known as Mickey, on August 14, 1950, at St. James Cathedral in Toronto and at the time of his death on October 15, 2013, they had been married 63 years. They were blessed with five children, five grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.


Pam lived a full life and enjoyed singing in the choir at Christ Church, Bolton for many years, volunteered in her community, first as a Brown Owl to a Brownie Troup and then subsequently became the District Commissioner of Guiding for the Bolton, Ontario district and she enjoyed many hobbies included sewing, needlepoint, painting and rug hooking. Pam owned and operated a fabric store for a number of years but at the age of 48, she decided to go back to college and become a Registered Nurse graduating in the top 5 of her class at the age of 50. She worked in the ICU/CCU at Humber Memorial Hospital until her retirement.


A celebration of life will be planned for later date.
