Passed away at Georgetown Hospital on February 14th 2016, one day after his 95th birthday, surrounded by loving family, and attended by a wonderful, caring nursing staff.
"Norm" was a man of many talents and considerable wit. During his long lifetime he was a business man, an artist, a poet, a linguist, a singer and music lover, a golfer, a political debater, a storyteller, a food connoisseur and a gourmet cook. Norm was born and spent much of his life in England but in later life became an ardent Canadian and Blue Jays fan.
Norm was the greatly beloved husband of Lena for 73 years, and dearly loved father of Yvette (Gary) Spiller of Georgetown, and Jacquie (Len) Robinson of Wickford, England. Cherished and admired grandfather of Keith (Joanne), Jamie (Samantha), Neil (Agnes), Wayne, Nicola (Sean), and Stephen (Celia). Loved by great grandchildren Matthew, Michael, Megan, Max, Jamie, Tommy, Callum, Samuel, Ryan and Kaley.
A celebration of Norman's life will be held at a later date.
