Norma Jean Rae

Rae, Norma Jean Isobel – Passed away peacefully, on Thursday April 11, 2024 at the Georgetown Hospital. Norma, at 95 years young , wife of Carson Rae, loving mother of Glen (Marlene), Bruce (Donna), Dennis, Darlene (Ivan), the late Kevin and mother-in-law of Nancy. Loved grandma of Debbie, Cyndi, Angel, Jeremy, Brian and the late Kelly, Alissa, Brandon, John, David. Loved great grandma of Brittany, Ruby, Rose, Alexus, Sean, Claire, Maxwell and Lincoln. Great-great grandma of Chelsea and Amy. Predeceased by her sisters Elda, Verna and Elaine. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Norma thoroughly enjoyed baking, camping, travelling and square dancing. Norma will forever be remembered by her family and friends for her big heart and as a very kind, caring, genuine and loving person. Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Sunday July 28, 2024 from 2 p.m. until time of memorial service in the chapel at 3 p.m. Reception to follow in the Trafalgar Room. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Knox Presbyterian Church or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated.
