Nicholas John Hunking

Hunking, John Nicholas - Peacefully passed on November 15, 2022 at his home in Georgetown, in his 78th year with family by his side. Nick was the beloved husband of 30 years to wife Leeann. Proud father of Erin(Scott) and loved grandfather of Adelaide, Philip and Edward. He will be deeply missed by his brothers, Jim(Carole), Kevin and Jeff, neices Elissa and Ashley, sister-in-law Sandy, brother-in-law Mark(Susan) and nephew Andrew(Kaitlyn). Nick loved his many years teaching at Sheridan College, where both his students and colleagues enjoyed his sense of humour and sincere kindness. Nick will be remembered for his love of family, friends and neighbors. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at his home in Georgetown in June of 2023, with a toast of single malt scotch to our dearest Nick. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Georgetown Bread Basket or Food Banks Canada would be appreciated.
