Myrtle Victoria Rowntree (nee Burr)

Peacefully, on Monday November 20, 2023 at her home in Geogetown. Myrtle,in her 100th year, beloved wife of the late Russell Rowntree for 64 years. Loving mother of Don (Robin) and the late Tom and mother-in-law of Arlene. Loved grandmother of Dean, Donna (Scott) and great grandmother of Heidi (Harrison) and great great grandmother of Callihan.

Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown, (905) 877-3631on Tuesday November 28 2023 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. followed by a celebration of Myrtle's life in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the Trafalgar Room.

Interment will take place at the Pine Ridge Cemetery, 2920 Islington Ave., Toronto.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Townsend Smith Hospice Foundation, Georgetown would be appreciated.
