Monique "Nicki" Chesterfield

With broken hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Monique “Nicki” Michelle Chesterfield on Friday, November 28, 2025, at her home in Toronto, at the age of 56.

Nicki was the beloved daughter of Jim (Sharon) Chesterfield and Patricia (Jim) MacPherson, and a cherished sister to Rob (Carol), Jodi (Terry), Amber, and Stephen. She is reunited in Heaven with her little brother Jimmy, whose memory she carried close throughout her life.

A proud aunt, Nicki will be lovingly remembered by Kelly (Andrew), Brittany (Matt), Joel (Sarah), Joey (Samantha), Austin (Melissa), Elowyn, and Sutton. She will also be deeply missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Quiet by nature and bright in spirit, Nicki had a gentle soul. She treasured her independence, loved movies, and found joy in travelling and discovering new places. Though private, her warmth touched those who knew her.

A service to honour Nicki’s life will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown, with visiting beginning at 10:00 a.m. A reception will follow.

Those wishing to make a contribution in Nicki’s memory are invited to support the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity close to their heart.

May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love that goes with her.
